BC Health Regulators (BCHR) is seeking applications for the part-time permanent position of Executive Director (ED). This is a new role for BCHR, and the BCHR Executive will rely on the knowledge, skills and abilities of the ED in further developing the position. This position is contracted and not an employee position.

BC Health Regulators (BCHR) has an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced health care or non-profit leader to assist in advancing and promoting health profession regulation in British Columbia. In this leadership position, the ED will work closely with the BCHR Chair and Executive to cultivate the province’s 16 health professions regulatory colleges’ collaborative efforts to serve and protect all British Columbians. These efforts are accomplished by ensuring that regulated health care providers deliver qualified, safe, and ethical care to their patients and clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to BC health care at a high level, but on a part-time, contracted basis and with a desire to work primarily virtually.

Position Summary
Reporting to the BCHR Executive, the ED is responsible for the overall leadership and management of BCHR, working in accordance with the shared mandate and strategic establishment of BCHR. The ED provides strategic leadership and governance support, and works collaboratively with BCHR’s administrative, communications and finance teams.
