You can find the names of current college licensees on the colleges’ public registers, available on their websites.

When a health profession is regulated, only college licensees are authorized to practise and to use the profession’s own reserved titles. Anyone who falsely claims to be a licensee of one of B.C.’s health regulatory colleges and/or offers a regulated professional service without being licensed, is considered to be engaging in unlawful practice. This includes the use of titles that are reserved for members of the profession.

The colleges investigate all reports of unlawful practice and use of reserved titles and encourage the public to report anyone they believe is practising without appropriate registration.

Anyone can report suspected unlawful practice or use of reserved titles, including members of the public or health professionals licensed with any college. Each college website has information about how to report unlawful practice.
